About
Amanda Milligen, RSW, CCTP-II is a social worker with a clinical specialization in trauma-informed practice. She supports individuals living in northern communities and understands the unique challenges that come with distance, isolation, and the need for flexible appointment options.
Amanda is trained and provides evidence-based treatments such as EMDR, 3MDR, CBT, CBT-T, CPT, DBT, somatic, narrative as well as others. Drawing from trauma-informed care, she uses a variety of approaches to best meet your personal goals.

With experience both working with and as a first responder, Amanda brings deep respect for the complexity of trauma, operational stress injuries, and the resilience required overcoming physical or psychological trauma. As a social worker, Amanda provides a holistic approach recognizing that challenges do not occur in isolation. She works with clients navigating trauma, abuse, acute stress disorder, PTSD, emotional regulation, relational stress, anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, as well as other mental health concerns.
